Lifetime means a permanent feature unlock—not unlimited managed delivery. Both plans include sender signing before or after the recipient, and the sender never counts toward the signer limit. Can I use OwnPact now?
Not yet. This website introduces OwnPact and explains the product; it does not accept documents, provide a signing service or take payments.
Do I need an account?
The plan allows local signing and templates without an account. Creating remote requests requires a verified sender identity. Recipients will not need an OwnPact account.
Does everything work offline?
No. Local preparation and self-signing are designed to work offline after installation. Remote signing, delivery, purchases and connected status need internet access.
Can I use OwnPact with ChatGPT or Claude?
A persistent, searchable workspace is planned for the first release, starting with ChatGPT and Claude. You will also be able to ask a supported AI client about OwnPact, including plans and limits, before creating an account. No connector is live yet. The connection guide explains what is planned.
What gets shared when I use the AI workspace?
Only what you deliberately publish or create there. Your private vault is never uploaded automatically. Workspace copies are processed so they can be searched and reused, and you can delete them at any time. Removing a copy stops future reuse. It cannot recall what a chat provider has already processed.
What happens when my delivery credits run out?
The Lifetime feature entitlement remains. You can still share links manually within your plan limits, or choose an optional top-up for managed delivery.
How long can I download a completed document?
Remote signing storage is temporary. The completed PDF and its evidence are planned to stay available for seven days after completion, so save a copy. Items published to your workspace stay until you delete them.
Can I use it on my phone or tablet?
Web/PWA is the first target, with iOS, iPadOS and Android shells planned. Actual platform availability will be confirmed when released.
Which languages are planned?
The sender app starts in English. Recipient signing, invitations and reminders are planned in English and Spanish.
Is it suitable for every legal document?
OwnPact is being built for everyday business agreements such as NDAs, statements of work, service agreements and project approvals. Suitability still depends on the document and applicable requirements. OwnPact does not promise notarization, identity proofing, qualified signatures or legal advice.
